About The Position

The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek, a premier retirement community in Pensacola, Florida, provides quality care to residents in an ASSISTED LIVING community. We are seeking a Wellness Director to join our team and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures relating to resident care and oversight of all health-related services. This role involves managing and coordinating activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, establishing working relationships with healthcare professionals, and performing other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
