About The Position
As the Wellness Director, you will oversee the Wellness Department and champion a safe, homelike environment where residents can achieve their highest level of wellness and independence. You’ll combine clinical expertise with strong leadership to support residents, families, and staff—while ensuring compliance, quality care, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in assisted living or healthcare
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with seniors and building meaningful relationships
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Wellness team
- Oversee resident care, assessments, and service plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, and state regulations
- Partner with physicians, families, and care providers for optimal outcomes
- Monitor staffing, training, and overall department performance
- Promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, and excellence
- Respond to clinical needs and ensure safety and infection control standards
- Step in to support community operations as needed
