Requirements
- Active RN or LVN license in the State of Texas
- CPR Certification
- 3 years of leadership experience in an assisted living or memory care setting required
- Sensitivity and strong communication skills for working with residents and families
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings, along with stepping onto the floor to provide coverage and support when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Oversee all health and wellness services for residents
- Ensure compliance with Assisted Living License regulations
- Supervise nursing and direct care staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations
- Perform resident assessments, care planning, and medication oversight
- Coordinate with physicians, families, and case workers regarding care plans and changes
- Be available for emergencies and staff support via phone/on-call
- Maintain and update resident records, policies, procedures, and training manuals
- Demonstrate flexibility and be willing to support daily floor operations as needed
