About The Position

The Wellness Director (LVN) provides nursing and administrative direction for the entire nursing services team. This role requires a dynamic candidate with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, knowledgeable in nursing/medical practices and procedures. As a valued facility leader, the Wellness Director (LVN) plays a critical strategic role in overseeing the leadership and guidance of the nursing services team in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. The position involves overseeing the appropriate utilization of resources for high-quality patient care and communicating and collaborating with other departments for a coordinated interdisciplinary approach. The nurse leader will also coach, develop, and lead the clinical team.

Requirements

Previous experience in providing direct care to multiple residents
Graduate of approved LVN program
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
