About The Position
Aberdeen Ridge is a new senior living community in Colorado Springs, built on the vision of Christian values and service to older adults of all faiths. We foster a culture of learning, growth, and engagement, starting with our friendly team members. Our mission is to provide a great experience for our residents, rooted in our heritage as a faith-based, non-profit organization. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our caring team and be empowered to actively participate in the lives of our residents and their families, providing the best quality of life and care.
Requirements
- One year experience in a patient activities/wellness program.
- Experience in senior living.
Nice To Haves
- Exercise Science degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Developing and carrying out the wellness programs of the Community that emphasize strength, endurance, and flexibility in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as may be directed by the Executive Director.
- Ensuring that an on-going program of physical activities is maintained that provides for the interests and physical activities of the residents.
- Advancing the value that the resident comes first.
- Valuing the Community as the residents’ home and working to create attributes of home and modeling person centered care.
