Requirements

  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
  • Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
  • Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
  • Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage call outs, time off requests and other issues with the schedule, finding appropriate coverage per state requirements and community guidelines
  • Provide RCA coverage as needed if openings in the schedule cannot be filled
  • Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care
  • Join or lead fun activities of your choice with the residents
  • Track care and other tasks with our easy-to-use electronic health record system
  • Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services
  • Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services, as needed
