About The Position

The Wellness Consultant helps clients look and feel their best by providing professional, upbeat consultations, educating customers on the Golden Rules of Tanning, and delivering customer service that encourages repeat visits. The role includes meeting sales goals and earning base pay plus commission, supporting salon promotions and store goals, and helping maintain a clean, organized salon that meets health department standards. Consultants handle cash, opening and closing duties, customer card data securely, goal tracking, and daily paperwork. They support the Store Manager and team, follow company and legal requirements, and may travel locally for meetings, training, or to support other salon locations. Salons are open seven days a week; schedules offer flexibility but include some nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a security-sensitive position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Basic computer and POS skills.
A consistent work schedule and punctuality.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to be on your feet for 7 or more hours a day.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Greet and consult with clients in a professional, upbeat manner.
Educate customers on the Golden Rules of Tanning.
Provide customer service that encourages clients to return.
Keep the salon clean and organized and ensure it meets health department standards.
Handle cash and opening and closing duties.
Securely handle customer card data; PCI security training is included.
Track goals and complete daily paperwork.
Support the Store Manager and team with promotions and store goals.
Follow all company and legal requirements.
Travel locally when needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations.
