About The Position

Vi at Bentley Village is seeking a PRN Wellness Center Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role involves promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting whole-person wellness for residents. Responsibilities include resident and family education and counseling on health promotion, creating newsletters, coordinating health screenings, presenting monthly wellness briefs, and providing direct care and maintaining clinical records for residents receiving care in the Wellness Center.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Registered Nurses.
• Current State Licensure in the state where practicing.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to become First Aid certified.
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work with the geriatric population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of health and wellness duties that promote a healthy lifestyle and support whole-person wellness opportunities for residents.
• Participate in resident and family education and counseling on health promotion.
• Create newsletters and coordinate health screenings.
• Present monthly wellness briefs to communicate wellness promotion throughout the community.
• Provide direct care and maintenance of the clinical record for each resident receiving care in the Wellness Center.
