Join the Dover YMCA as a Wellness Attendant and help create a welcoming, safe environment for our members. This role supports daily fitness floor operations, assists members, and ensures equipment and spaces are clean and ready for use. Schedule is Monday–Thursday with varying hours, offering flexibility while making a positive impact in the community. POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Wellness Attendant maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and provides direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for members in the Wellness Center. Under the supervision of the Wellness Director or Coordinator, the Wellness Attendant is responsible for the services and operations offered in the Wellness Center while providing high quality services for members, participants, and guests of the YMCA. Greets everyone by using names whenever possible; extends thanks whenever appropriate; makes relationship building the number one priority at all times. The position is responsible for ensuring that the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of the Roses is conveyed.
