Requirements

Responsibilities

• Connect with members on the wellness floor and build genuine relationships
• Help members feel comfortable and confident using fitness equipment
• Provide basic wellness guidance and recommend programs based on goals
• Lead orientations like EGYM and introduce members to available resources
• Motivate and encourage members to stay consistent and reach their goals
• Give tours to potential members and share the YMCA’s impact and mission
• Keep the fitness area clean, organized, and safe for everyone
• Monitor equipment and report any issues or safety concerns
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow safety procedures
• Stay engaged on the wellness floor and actively interact with members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment every shift
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Follow YMCA policies and represent the organization professionally
• Be reliable with scheduling and communication
• Complete all required training within 30 days of hire
