Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of high school education, the equivalent, or be currently enrolled.
• Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and/or certification from a national organization is preferred.
• Previous fitness experience with basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect: Strong human relations skills and ability to communicate with participants and program staff.
• Support: Provide a level of service by connecting with members and their wellness goals, ensuring the safety of members using the facilities, and the ability to respond to emergency situations.
• Motivate: Orient members with the fitness equipment to ensure a safe and positive environment for the participants to succeed in their wellness goals.
