The Well Test Specialist will coordinate with operations management to prepare for projects, perform duties to mobilize, rig up, operate, and demobilize from projects, and finally, to lead or facilitate post-project meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Capable of independently loading out, staging, rigging up/down, and executing a Service-Specific Job.
  • Capable of overseeing, implementing, and executing project design.
  • Capable of installing and operating routine safety systems.
  • Fully-proficient in company-related technology systems (e.g., SharePoint, MS Office, KMI).
  • Ability to read, to understand, and to implement a PFD and a P&ID.
  • Capable of assessing the proper functioning of equipment, measuring devices, and processes.
  • Responsible to ensure that all equipment certifications and/or personnel certifications are current and in compliance with Customer requirements.
  • Responsible for completion of the Job Packet, including shipping manifests, permits, etc.
  • Meets all of the requirements applicable to Operator II.
  • Facilitates OE-related exercises (e.g., kaizens, VSMs, etc.)
  • Trains Team Members on Gemba Walks, 5S, etc.
  • Actively trains personnel in, and encourages the use of, the Suggestion System.
  • Authors JSEAs as required and trains others in hazard recognition.
  • Fosters a learning environment and readily shares knowledge with Team.
  • Continually mentors and actively evaluates Team Members. Writes Performance Evaluations on Team Members regularly.
  • Functions as a Lead Team member when called upon, and oversees the execution of assigned Hoshins.
  • Leads Pre- and Post-Job Meeting.
  • Submits time sheets of Team in a timely fashion.
  • Leads according to the Transformational Rules for Leaders.
  • Assist in the interviewing of potential Team Members.
  • Meets all of the requirements applicable to Operator II.
  • Capable of explaining the entire job process, including current conditions and any job-related issues.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and initiate further sales.
  • Communicates transparently with Customer. Keeps Customer informed of the progress of the job and any issues which might arise.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Customer expectations and requirements are met on location during the course of the job.
  • Capable of completing accurate field tickets and having them signed on location by Customer.
  • Has basic understanding of margins, operating profits, and project economics.
  • Participates in Voice of the Customer (VoC) activities as requested.
  • Responsible for turning in all third-party delivery tickets and purchase receipts.
  • Incumbent must meet applicable Federal and/or State regulations/requirements regarding qualifications of drivers FMCSA or Pipeline work – PHMSA.

Responsibilities

  • Operating filter systems, Oil/H2O separations tanks, produced water treatment systems, and oilfield chemistry.
  • Generate field Job Safety Analysis reports.

  • Actively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Suggestions, Daily Management Control, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
  • Attends all OE training as it is deployed by the OE team.
  • Suggestions – 18 per year. Gemba walk done daily.
  • Must have the capability of running a complete job night shift under the guidance of a Supervisor available for job situations and technical expertise.
