About The Position

Assists with the creation of well-being goals and objectives. Partners with coaches, internal health system partners and/or companies/organizations to design, manage, refine and evaluate strategic health & well-being strategies. Identifies and develops opportunities to weave well-being into companies’ and/or communities’ underlying cultures. Researches industry trends and assesses new and current wellness programming. Facilitates and leads well-being committee meetings. Provides timely, accurate and meaningful status reports, data analysis and executive summaries regarding program initiatives and participation in existing programs. Compiles an annual, comprehensive well-being report and makes recommendations for fostering continual improvement.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in the area of Health Education, Exercise Physiology, Public Health, Nursing, Dietary or a related field.
  • Must have valid drivers license.
  • Must have current CPR (AHA) Certification required.
  • Two to three years experience in Health Promotion, Wellness, Health Education, and Employee Wellness program leadership.
  • Education in program development, event planning and relationship building with business group preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge/experience with PC, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
  • Familiarity with Allen County and surrounding communities as it relates to outreach health initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • CHES, Wellness Coaching certification and/or Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager preferred.
