The successful candidate must have a complete knowledge of the various welding, cutting, and fabrication operations. These may include but are not limited to: pipe welding, silver soldering, spray welding, electric ARC, heli ARC, acetylene cutting, scarfing operations, brazing and soldering, layout, mig/tig welding, use of brake, press, roller, burning table and other related equipment. The ability to share information with coworkers is also a must. The successful candidate must also have a strong attention to detail as well.

Requirements

• Five years Fabrication experience or similar degree/certificate is required
• Proficiently read blueprints and sketches
• Follow both written and oral directions
• Must have strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Utilize various welding, cutting, and fabrication techniques including: Pipe welding MIG/TIG Welding Silver soldering Spray welding Electric ARC / heli ARC Acetylene cutting Scarfing operations Brazing and soldering
• Familiar use of brake, press, roller, burning table and other related equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints & sketches and build/modify as necessary
• Work cross-functionally with both peers in Engineering Maintenance and Operational departments to build/repair/modify equipment as necessary.
