About The Position
Fitter/ Welder is responsible for constructing and assembling mechanical systems. This role involves constructing structural components based on blueprints, fitting structural components together to create finished systems, and laying out, fitting, and welding fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, pressure vessels, and building and bridge parts, according to blueprints and knowledge of fitting, welding and metallurgy. The selected candidate will select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.

Responsibilities
