Welding & NDT Inspector at Wichita Kansas 1099 Contractor
About The Position
Pro QC International is seeking a Welding & NDT Inspector for a 1099 contract role in Wichita, Kansas. This position involves resident inspection, expediting, and on-call inspection services at supplier facilities. The inspector will be responsible for examining welding, NDE activities, valves, pressure vessels, compressors, turbo machinery, piping systems, storage tanks, and electrical equipment. Additionally, the role requires reviewing manufacturing progress, quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. Requirements
- 2 or 3 years experience conducting Welding & NDT Inspections
- NDT/NDE certifications required.
- Welding, heat treatment and NDT inspection experience.
- Knowledge of valves, pressure vessels, piping systems, and rotating equipment.
- Must be able to travel around Wichita, KS and nearby areas.
Nice To Haves
- AWS CWI or IWI certification preferred.
