Welding & NDT Inspector at Kansas City KS 1099 Contractor
About The Position
Pro QC International is seeking a Welding & NDT Inspector for resident inspection, expediting, and on-call inspection services at supplier facilities throughout Kansas and nearby areas. This is a 1099 contract role with a current project on a regular day shift, though project schedules may vary based on client needs and site availability. The role involves inspecting various equipment and systems, reviewing manufacturing progress and quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. Pro QC International has been assisting clients with quality control and production challenges since 1984, operating globally with 18 offices worldwide and serving a diverse range of clients.
Requirements
- 2 or 3 years experience conducting Welding & NDT Inspections
- NDT/NDE certifications required.
- Welding, heat treatment and NDT inspection experience.
- Knowledge of valves, pressure vessels, piping systems, and rotating equipment.
- Must be able to travel around KS and nearby areas.
Nice To Haves
- AWS CWI or IWI certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident inspection, expediting, and on-call inspection services at supplier facilities throughout the state.
- Inspect welding, NDE activities, valves, pressure vessels, compressors, turbomachinery, piping systems, storage tanks, and electrical equipment.
- Review manufacturing progress, quality documentation, and compliance with applicable standards.
