About The Position
The welding department at USU Blanding is seeking a laboratory assistant. The successful candidate for this position will become a working member of the welding education certificate and degree programs located at the USU Blanding campus in Blanding, Utah.
Requirements
- Welding major currently enrolled in at least two welding courses at USU Eastern
- One semester of courses completed in the welding program
- Computer literacy
- Organization
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Fabrication of projects for shop improvements
- Basic maintenance and repair of program equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lab facility
- Participating in recruiting events hosted and participated in by the welding program
