About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced welder to teach in its Welding program. The instructor delivers lessons using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program and provides hands-on training in a fully equipped facility. The role emphasizes welding safety and industry standards while helping students develop professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. The instructor fosters an engaging classroom, assesses student performance, gives feedback, and prepares students for careers in Welding Technology. Prior teaching experience is not required; training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
• Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program.
• Provide practical welding experience in a fully equipped facility to develop students' skills.
• Teach safety procedures and industry standards.
• Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement among students.
• Create a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere.
• Assess student performance and communicate clear feedback about progress.
• Prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for careers in Welding Technology.
