Welding Inspector
About The Position
This is a full-time, seasonal opportunity for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join a dynamic team. The role involves working in the field to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards in the pipeline and welding inspection industry. The Welding Inspector will conduct visual inspections of welds, review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards, identify and address welding defects, and maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required.
- Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential.
- Strong field experience and a solid understanding of welding practices in utility environments.
- Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real-time.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
