About The Position
DISHER is seeking a Welding Engineer for a two-year project onsite in Portage, Michigan. The role supports new weld fixtures, qualification of components during part-specific programs, and the weld qualification process for a new line.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Intermediate to advanced Welding Engineer experience.
- Experience with weld fixture design and qualification.
- Experience with component qualification within part-specific weld programs.
- Deep understanding of the weld qualification process for automated weld cells.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the medical device, aerospace, or automotive industries.
