About The Position

CB&I is seeking Welding Engineer majors for its Graduate Training Program. This two-year rotational program is designed to provide employees with experience in engineering, operations, estimating, project controls, and other disciplines to help them develop broad knowledge, skills, and abilities. Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership characteristics and perspectives that contribute to a diverse, growing organization. The program has been utilized for over 50 years to identify and develop technical experts and business leaders.

Requirements

BS or MS in Welding Engineering discipline (Civil, Structural, and Mechanical) / Construction Management is required
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Ability to work in the United States and travel
Motivated and passionate self-starter
Adaptability and Agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments
Advanced Self-Awareness and Interpersonal skills
A consistently developing Business and Technical Acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results

Nice To Haves

Work history or internship experience in construction, engineering, designing, and/or constructing Plate Structures and/or Pressure Vessels
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse groups
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Displays leadership potential
Willing to relocate to an available permanent position after successful completion of the rotational program.

Responsibilities

Travel and work for extended periods in the field.
Work in construction or office settings.
Work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, precipitation, dust, dirt, and loud noise.
Occasionally work from heights.
Walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, sit, reach, type, observe, listen, and speak.
