About The Position

This is a production support role for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets. This role interfaces with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians. This role is an opportunity to develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in manufacturing, with medical device manufacturing preferred.
Understanding of welding or brazing technologies.
Understanding of tooling design for use in welding/brazing applications.
Understanding of automation of welding/brazing.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, preferred.
Self-motivated, driven engineer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Great written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Induction brazing/TIG/MIG process experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Production support for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets.
Interface with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians.
Develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.
Root cause analysis of production process failures.
Troubleshooting production equipment issues.
Process validation documentation including PFMEA, IQ, TMV, OQ/PQ.
Statistical analysis of process data.
Tooling and fixture design.
Understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing on mechanical drawings.
