About The Position

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Welding and Fabrication Technician for an upcoming project opportunity: RFQ027-25 On-Call Trade Labor. This role involves maintaining required licenses, adhering to project scopes, permits, safety rules, prevailing-wage requirements, inspection requirements, and municipal documentation standards. The technician will review role scope, project background, supporting materials, deadlines, and client requirements. They will provide requested role-specific materials such as resume, cover letter, work samples, technical notes, estimates, or availability, and coordinate with FuntoNetwork on assigned consultant roles and technical work. Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, as is supporting quality control, status updates, and readiness for their assigned portion of the work.

Requirements

• Relevant experience for this project-based role.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work against project deadlines and client requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to provide complete role-specific application materials.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection licenses or registrations required for assigned work.
• Follow project scopes, permits, safety rules, prevailing-wage requirements when applicable, inspection requirements, and municipal documentation standards.
• Review the role scope, project background, supporting materials, deadline, and client requirements that relate to your assigned work.
• Provide only the role-specific materials requested by FuntoNetwork, such as your resume, cover letter, work samples, technical notes, estimates, or availability.
• Coordinate with FuntoNetwork on your assigned consultant role and related technical work only.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
• Support quality control, status updates, and readiness for your assigned portion of the work.
