About The Position

As a Welder, you will work in a dynamic, high-energy production environment to fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing. You will use blue-prints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies. Swing Shift offers a 4-day work week schedule and a shift differential equal to 15% additional pay!

Requirements

High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
Three years’ experience in welding fabrication.
Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, pneumatic hand tools such grinders.
Able to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides.
Experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding.
Must pass a weld written and practical test.

Nice To Haves

Skills in all forms of GMAW welding.
Competence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to contribute to the team’s performance.
Confidence with measurements, tolerances, and both imperial measurement and metric system.
