About The Position

This position is for a Welder on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves inspecting and repairing welds to ensure quality parts are produced on time, meeting or exceeding customer requirements, while adhering to Magna's Employee Charter and company policies. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of welding experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Must be able to pass and maintain welding proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education preferred
• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Operate standard office equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair welds as needed to ensure quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements.
• Support the Magna Employee’s Charter and the policies and procedures of BGM.
• Detect and repair (within cycle times) all weld defects within your zone.
