Requirements

2 years of proven experience in welding and fabrication, especially in repairing heavy industrial equipment
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and charts accurately
Strong capability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with Spray Arc Welding and heavy equipment welding (minimum one year preferred)

Nice To Haves

Certification in welding or related field
Experience with fabrication and repair of mining equipment
Familiarity with safety protocols in industrial environments
Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and overtime requirements

Responsibilities

Utilize various welding processes to join metal parts according to work orders and blueprints, ensuring precision and quality.
Conduct repairs and modifications on heavy mining equipment such as buckets, pipelines, and other components, restoring functionality and structural integrity.
Accurately read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and charts to understand project requirements and execute welding tasks accordingly.
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication tasks daily, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
