About The Position
The Welder performs welding, fabrication, and repair of plant equipment, structures, and components. The role includes inspecting equipment to identify maintenance needs, reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability. The Welder maintains a clean, organized, safety-focused work area and follows company procedures. The role operates primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
Requirements
- Demonstrated welding and metal fabrication skills in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.
- Ability to safely operate welding tools, equipment, and related machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with attention to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
