About The Position

The Welder position is responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Requirements

• Must have previous experience working with mild steel and stainless steel
• Must have solid working knowledge of current welding materials and procedures
• Attention to detail and initiative to be self-motivated and directed
• Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members
• Able to read and interrupt multipage blueprints
• At least 2 years of continual welding experience

Nice To Haves

• Welding Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Welding components in flat, vertical and overhead positions
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel and sit for extended periods of time
• Climb ladders to reach ceilings and other high objects
• Push, pull, lift, or move 50 pounds repeatedly
• Working in adverse weather conditions
• Weld separately or in combination of, using stainless steel, cast iron and other alloys
