Requirements

• Must successfully pass an advanced weld test.
• Proficient in MIG welding carbon steel and galvanneal materials, as well as various other metals.
• Minimum of 3 years’ welding experience.
• Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills.
• Basic experience with hand tools.
• Able to accurately understand and apply measurements.
• Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Previous experience welding on truck bodies

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints to weld metals with pinpoint precision.
• Operate heavy equipment like saws to prepare materials.
• Own machine setup and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect every weld for defects and flaws.
• Learn and apply multiple welding methods.
• Conduct rigorous safety and quality checks.
• Consistently follow and promote all safety policies.
