Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully meet the Welding Skills Tests performance qualification requirement.
Must pass drug screen prior to employment.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Nice To Haves

One-year prior welding experience is preferred with basic knowledge of welding process.

Responsibilities

Applying basic understanding in the operation and maintenance of machines and tools utilized in the manufacturing environment.
Positioning, producing and/or fastening parts in specified relationship to each other according to the manufacturing schedule.
Maintaining a clean and safe workstation, maintaining and wearing all required personal protective safety equipment.
Working at different workstations as needs require or shifts from one station to another. Able to promptly produce quality work that satisfies customer requirements.
Participating in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and by exhibiting initiative in the area within direct control.
Following all organizational, department/area, safety policies, procedures.
