About The Position

Kaspar Custom Fabrications (Bedrock Truck Beds) is seeking a skilled Welder to join their team. The Welder will support the Welding Department by performing MIG welding and assembly of components and truck bed structures according to work order specifications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys metalwork, is committed to high-quality custom fabrication, and aligns with values of stewardship, versatility, and family.

Requirements

• Able to read and interpret SDS, production orders, and safety documentation.
• Experience with welding setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and gauges.
• Ability to evaluate and check finished welds for workmanship standards.
• Proficient in interpreting weld specifications and assembly standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding per supervisor instruction and specifications.
• Track time and material used per job.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for quality.
• Use tools, jigs, and fixtures to shape and assemble parts.
• Return tooling and maintain organized work area.
• Wear all required PPE including helmets, gloves, and safety gear.
• Report work-related concerns or needs to supervision.
• All other duties as assigned by management
