This position is for a Welder on the 2nd shift. The role requires adherence to all company safety rules, effective communication, and ensuring the quality of welded parts and processes. The welder must be proficient in wire welding with .035 & .045 wire, reading measuring devices, blueprints, and diagrams, and using various hand tools. They must also be able to follow simple procedures like scrap tickets, reject tags, and MI changes. Physical requirements include standing for 10+ hours a day, continuous lifting of 20-50 lbs, occasional lifting over 50 lbs with a hoist, and continuous pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and stooping. Repetitive reaching, grasping, and overhead work with a heavy weld whip are also required. Personal protective equipment includes a weld helmet, safety glasses, ear plugs, weld jacket, sleeves, gloves, and steel toe shoes.
