About The Position
Soukup Construction, Inc. is a regional leader in excavation, paving, and site development. Our shop is expanding and we are seeking a Welder to join our growing team.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL
- Adequate supply of personal tools
- Aptitude to work efficiently
- Team player with a good attitude and energy
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and pre employment physical

Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance
- Follow safe work practices
- Under supervision performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; performs related work as assigned
- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment by welding, heating, assembly and disassembly
- Prepares and maintains records and reports
- Builds specific items according to engineered or hand written plans supplied by Project Managers
