About The Position

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Welder to join our production team. We are an exciting, energy-filled manufacturing company that designs and manufactures blending and convey equipment for the plastics industry. We have state-of-the-art fabrication, machining, and panel-building facilities. Requirements

Technical degree/certificate in welding or comparable experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and operate a variety of welding equipment
Use of logic and reasoning in daily decision making and problem solving
Basic computer proficiency (ability to utilize our system to track jobs)
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Utilize various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, shielded metal arc, and gas metal arc.
Interpret basic blueprints to weld parts in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, or grind parts as necessary to fabricate the final product to specifications.
Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met.
Enter data into our quality management system.
Monitor equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures.
