About The Position

Skillforce is seeking an experienced Welder for a project in Covington, Tennessee. The ideal candidate is skilled with an oxy-fuel torch and can accurately chamfer or bevel metal using a torch. The position pays $25+ depending on experience and is on the first shift, working 40–45 hours per week.

Requirements

• Previous welding experience.
• Hands-on experience operating an oxy-fuel torch.
• Ability to chamfer or bevel metal with a torch.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must have all tools and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Use an oxy-fuel torch to cut and prepare metal.
• Chamfer or bevel materials to meet project specifications.
• Perform welding work as needed.
• Follow job-site safety procedures and maintain quality workmanship.
