About The Position

This is a safety sensitive position due to handling heavy material and operating forklifts. The employer pays 100% of Employee Medical Insurance and offers a $3000.00 Sign on Bonus. The work schedule is Monday-Thursday, with a forty-hour work week and occasional overtime, especially when working with customer or production deadlines. This position is an hourly position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Mechanical: Knowledge of designing, using and repairing machines and tools.
Experience in MIG welding.
Able to bend, twist, climb and lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Vocational training in welding strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and understand work related materials.
Strong Blueprint reading.
Use math skills to solve problems.
Experience in MIG welding.
Sanding, chipping and cleaning of parts.
Layout, assemble in jigs or fixtures, weld, and inspect welds.
Perform safe work habits.
Able to bend, twist, climb and lift up to 75 pounds.
Manage one’s time to maximize productivity.
Train others to develop depth and support in the team.
Recommend needed equipment, facilities, and materials.
Look for ways to help people being conscious of a team concept.
Determine the causes of technical problems and find solutions for them.

Maintain equipment on a routine basis.
