About The Position
Swenson Spreader, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal parts, preparing products for welding, operating welding equipment, and interpreting blueprints to create high-quality welds. They will also ensure all safety procedures are followed and maintain equipment in good working order. The position is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Requirements
- Prior MIG welding experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various body positions.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and basic math.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
Nice To Haves
- Pulse MIG welding experience preferred.
- Fabrication experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and build from blueprints to perform quality welds.
- Operate welding machines (manual wire feed, automatic) and adjust welding parameters as needed.
- Weld in multiple positions and perform inspections as required.
- Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools.
- Utilize cranes and hoists for various tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
