About The Position
Exmark, a division of The Toro Company located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is seeking 3rd shift welders. Exmark is the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers and equipment for landscape professionals, known for its trusted and high-quality products designed to increase productivity. This role involves performing welding duties on various outdoor power equipment.
Requirements
- Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.
- Experience in using power tools helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams.
- Select appropriate weld jig, position and secure piece parts in weld jig by loading parts by hand or by hoist.
- Perform MIG tack welds and seam welds based on project needs.
- Set up welding cells for production runs.
- Buff and inspect welded surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
