About The Position

Responsible for performing GMAW welding processes/Carbon Arc Gouging on production materials in compliance with the required specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards. Ensure compliance with quality control standards and maintain required AWS certifications, including meeting or exceeding the 85% UT pass ratio. Operate assigned equipment with full knowledge of its capabilities and applicable welding codes, handle machine setup and routine maintenance. Complete all job-related paperwork and data entry accurately and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining the required weld Earned Hour Ratio. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required. Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Meet or exceed the 85% UT pass ratio.
  • Maintain required AWS certifications.
