About The Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is looking for Welders to join our fabrication shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision. This is a unique opportunity to start your journey at our High Point, NC shop with the opportunity of relocating to our brand-new facility in Asheboro, NC! Requirements

Ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test using GMAW process on 3/8“ material
Good verbal communication skills with other employees
Positive attitude
Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement
Ability to understand weld symbols and testing requirements
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
