About The Position

Leonhardt Manufacturing is hiring welders across multiple shifts. This is hands-on MIG welding work using blueprints and work orders to produce parts across galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel, with a focus on consistent quality and steady output. We are currently hiring for set, full-time schedules: 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM. Additional Schedules may include shifts that cover Fridays and/or weekends based on production needs. This is not a rotating schedule. You will be assigned to one consistent shift based on your availability and business needs.

Requirements

MIG welding experience
Ability to read blueprints and work orders
Experience welding galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
Ability to inspect welds for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
Ability to grind, sand, and finish welds as needed
Ability to support inspection processes (visual, leak testing, etc.)
Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Ability to contribute to daily production and quality goals

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding based on blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements
Set up components and fixtures for welding
Weld galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
Grind, sand, and finish welds as needed
Support inspection processes (visual, leak testing, etc.)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Contribute to daily production and quality goals
