About The Position

As a Welder, you will fabricate and weld custom metal components for commercial projects while ensuring precision, safety, and adherence to company quality standards. The work is performed in the fabrication shop and at field job sites as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe welding and metal fabrication.
• 6G and stainless certification required, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Pipe fitting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld aluminum, steel, galvanized, and stainless-steel materials.
• Use SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Be willing to perform stick and TIG welding.
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling, and tapping before welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Use proper welding techniques to produce high-quality welds that meet company standards.
• Work in the fabrication shop and at field job sites as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work environment clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper use of weld screens and PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and complete additional duties as assigned.
