Requirements

Previous weld experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Familiarity with welding tools and adherence to safe and correct procedures while using metalworking equipment in a shop environment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Follow quality standards by paying close attention to detail.
Ensure work is performed safely.
Ability to lift raw materials as needed (up to 50 pounds).
Must be able to pass D1.1, D1.3 weld certification within weeks of hire.

Nice To Haves

AWS certification history is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the weld certification process during the interview.

Responsibilities

Following blueprint specifications to weld and fabricate parts according to customer designs.
Aligning, fitting, and welding parts together.
Setting up and operating hand tools.
Verifying that fabricated components meet design requirements.
Interpreting and analyzing drawing files to weld and fabricate components.
Maintaining quality and safety standards.
Keeping detailed records.
Maintaining shop equipment and supplies.
