About The Position

We are currently seeking experienced Welders to support an upcoming turnaround project in Beaumont, Texas. This is a temporary, project-based opportunity expected to run for approximately four weeks. The position will involve performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks in support of refinery turnaround activities. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals with refinery, petrochemical, industrial, or turnaround experience who can safely and efficiently perform work on the night shift.

Requirements

Current welding certifications preferred (AWS, ASME, or site-specific certifications as applicable).
Ability to successfully complete required weld tests and qualifications.
Proficiency with Inconel, SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and/or GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) processes, depending on project requirements.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices, hot work procedures, and quality standards.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a turnaround team.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Must be available to work night shift for the duration of the project.
Must be able to pass all required site safety training, background requirements, weld testing requirements, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous welding experience in a refinery, petrochemical, industrial construction, maintenance, or turnaround environment.
Experience performing production, maintenance, or turnaround welding.
Experience working in active industrial facilities while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform welding activities in accordance with project specifications, welding procedures, and applicable codes.
Execute high-quality welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as required by the project.
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
Prepare materials and work areas for welding operations, including fit-up and layout activities as needed.
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine inspections to ensure proper operation.
Follow all hot work procedures, permits, and site-specific requirements.
Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, structures, and potential hazards.
Follow all refinery, project, and company safety policies and procedures.
Immediately report equipment issues, unsafe conditions, incidents, or potential hazards.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the turnaround project.
