About The Position

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Welding Machines to ensure quality parts are produced and provided to the customer in a timely manner. Responsible for welding aluminum components to assemble structural forms. Layouts, align, fit, and weld fabrication and aluminum components. Read and understand blueprints. Strong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspection. Perform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention all while making adjustments to perform properly. Comply with all safety rules including PPE, JSA, and other safety procedures. Effective communication with Supervisors and Managers.

Requirements

• Knowledge and technique of MIG welding
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints and weld assemblies to comply with engineering standards
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be able to work 3rd shift and overtime

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handheld plasma cutter
