About The Position
Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota has an immediate need for a welder. This job rotates between 1st and 2nd shift. The role involves MiG welding dies by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick welding any undercuts. It also includes gouging cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and placing them in a furnace using a crane. The welder will also troubleshoot MiG welding machines and perform routine maintenance, operate a crane/furnace safely, and keep areas clean.
Requirements
- MiG welding
- Knowledge of steel alloys
- 3 plus years’ experience or education
- Use of hands to handle or operate objects, tools, controls
Nice To Haves
- Osha safety a plus
Responsibilities
- MiG weld die by flooding or overlaying impressions
