About The Position

Pursuit Aerospace is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components focused on continuous operational improvement, customer service, quality, and process innovation. The Welder will join an aerospace welding team specializing in GTAW (TIG) welding and produce high-quality aerospace engine components in a clean, air-conditioned environment using up-to-date Miller electric machines. The role involves working with sheet metal mechanics and engineers to fit up and weld components. Most work takes place in a welding booth, with some work on details before and after welding. This is a full-time, onsite position in Whitesboro, New York, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. The role requires mobility in a manufacturing plant while using personal protective equipment, the ability to pass an eye exam, frequent sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future employer sponsorship.
Be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Be able to pass an eye exam.
Be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
Be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
Be mobile in a manufacturing plant environment while using personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Weld various alloys, including stainless steel, nickel, and titanium.
Complete fillet and groove welds in multiple positions.
Perform light sheet metal work, including fit-up and corrections directly related to welding.
Work with engineers to improve processes and support development.
Complete work in accordance with the company's quality system.
Work comfortably in a team environment.
