About The Position

As a Welder, you will be part of our Production team located in Hesston, KS. You will assemble parts into a welding jig and tack and/or weld them per prints, drawing, or instruction of supervisor. You will also control the operation of robots, perform cleaning, and inspection. Additionally, you will use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure a quality product. Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area is essential for a safe and efficient workspace, adhering to 5S principles and written standards. You will also attend and interact in all safety meetings daily, focusing on safety, quality, and the achievement of specific objectives.

Requirements

MIG welding experience and pass internal welding test.
Ability to read blueprints, layout part to print, weld to print.
Ability to understand and follow standard work.
Knowledge of welding hazards and safety rules and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Technical Certification in welding preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble parts into a welding jig and tack and/or weld them per prints, drawing, or instruction of supervisor. (Approx. 50%)
Control operation of Robot, cleaning, and inspection. (Approx. 20%)
Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product. (Approx. 10%)
Keep work area clean, neat, and orderly to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Per 5S, and written standards posted by management. (Approx. 10%)
Attend, and interact in all safety meetings every day. (Approx. 5%)
