About The Position
Seeking Welders for a fabrication shop job starting ASAP. This is a temporary position expected to last 4-6 weeks, located in a fabrication shop in Baytown, TX.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience (shop/fabrication experience preferred)
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW)
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Must pass required drug/alcohol screening
Nice To Haves
- Welding certifications preferred or ability to pass qualification tests
Responsibilities
- Perform SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW welding
- Fit-up and fabricate materials per drawings
- Read blueprints and welding symbols
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Follow all safety procedures
